Winston Brown Construction is seeking experienced, qualified individuals to join our team. We are fortunate to have a lot of jobs lined up, so there is plenty of work to keep you busy all winter and into the spring! We are currently looking to fill the following positions:
FINISH CARPENTER
- Must have 5 years of finish carpentry experience including kitchens, baths, tile showers, etc.
- Should have vast knowledge of residential remodeling and current remodeling codes.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Ability to read blueprints and plan for an entire project, as well as provide accurate material orders based on client contracts
- Installation of cabinetry, interior trim, doors, flooring, tile, etc.
- Must have an attention to detail and produce quality work with minimal mistakes.
DRYWALL FINISHER
- Must have 3 years of drywall finishing experience
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Fasten drywall to walls and ceilings
- Prepare panels for painting by taping or finishing joints
- Use hand tools to apply mud and smooth out imperfections
- Some painting experience would be a plus
PAINTER
- Must have at least 2 years of painting experience
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Prepare surfaces for painting and finishing
- Apply undercoats and finish coats using the full range of application methods and materials
- Mix and match paints and finishes
- Perform soda and water blasting
- Advise in the selection and storage of painting materials
All of our positions require:
- Ability to work independently and complete tasks on schedule
- Tools of the trade
- A valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening
